Are you looking for a breakfast that is easy to make yet can fill you up for long? Or maybe you love eating pancakes but you want to reduce your regular flour intakes, then Oats pancake is a good option you should consider.
Oats pancake is easy to prepare and it contains a lot of dietary fiber which make it a healthy breakfast if you are trying to lose weight.
If you are already familiar with making regular pancakes, this procedure will not be strange to you at all. Find the recipe below
100g of oat (Unblended)
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 cup of Milk
2 tablespoons of Honey
1 Cooking spoon of Olive Oil
Oil for frying (4 tablespoons total)
To prepare, mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another bowl. The next thing to do is to gentle mix the ingredients until they form a smooth, thick liquid.
Pick a pan you wish to use for frying and add a little amount of oil, like a drizzle (you can make use of oil spray if you have one).
Scoop the pancake batter into the pan and fry on low heat. Fry till both sides are brown.
Your oat pancake is ready. You can eat with honey or fruit like grapes or berries. I love eating mine with akara (weird right?)
